Writing music for film is what I love most—it’s where I get to help tell stories in a way that words and visuals can’t always do on their own.
Here’s a collection of some of my favorite projects so far. Take a listen, and if you like what you hear, feel free to check out my Resumé or get in touch!
MY ORIGINAL SCORES
HERO
"Hero" is an original piece I composed for a recording session with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra. I am a big supporter of character themes, especially in animation. This project allowed me to create my own dynamic themes to follow each character and over arching story as it develops through the film.
PEPPER JACK
(music starts at 0:20)
"Pepper Jack" is an original score for a short film about a girl who loses her father and finds comfort in a tradition they shared. I aimed to create music that feels intimate and nostalgic, and that captures the bond they shared while honoring the story’s emotional journey.
Boxing Bugs Demo
These are stills from a short film I scored titled “Boxing Bugs” created by students at California State University Long Beach about the “Rocky” of the bug world. This is a demo before I saw a single frame of animation, the music was inspired by references from the directors and animation team. From arcade style games, boss battle music to jazz, the goal was to capture the fun and energetic tone of the film.
